Kevin Reddington spoke after the mistrial and called Lindsay Clancy a “fantastic, wonderful” woman who is “so brave, so awesome.”

What a disgusting thing to say about a woman who murdered her three children, Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan in cold blood.

Tell me how this is fantastic? Tell me how this is wonderful? Tell me how she is brave and awesome?

Lindsay Clancy is a sick, twisted psychopath.

A lawyer can argue mental illness, lack of criminal responsibility, or postpartum psychosis. That is his job.

Calling the person who took the lives of those three babes brave and fantastic, is something so egregious, that even I am at a loss for words.

Three children are dead. Praising her character in that language after seven weeks of trial is tone-deaf and repulsive.

Let’s hope the next jury gets it right and there is justice for Cora, Dawson and Callan.

A 9/11 HERO'S LAST ROLL CALL

DECEMBER 2, 2004 - PORT AUTHORITY BUS TERMINAL:

I was honored to be there that day.

I was assigned to the bus terminal, as Detective Will Jimeno said goodbye to the job he loved.

Nine months after becoming a Port Authority Police Officer, rookie Will Jimeno was at the World Trade Center on 09/11/2001.

He and Sgt. John McLoughlin were buried when the towers fell.

Jimeno spent 13 hours in the dark, crushed, talking with McLoughlin about family and fighting to stay alive.

Police Dominick Pezzulo was killed trying to free them.

Jimeno was one of the last people pulled out alive. McLoughlin was rescued hours later.

37 PAPD officers never came home.

Jimeno survived with devastating injuries and a body that would never let him work the street again.

He was promoted to detective just before his last roll call.

At the farewell in the terminal he lost his composure only once, thanking McLoughlin, the man who shared that hole in the ground with him.

If I had it to do over again, he said, I would do it over again with you.

Their story later became the Oliver Stone film, World Trade Center.
