Tonight is the last night of a year-and-a-half-long commitment to sit in adoration for two hours in the middle of the night once a week
This time has been absolutely transformational. I began it as a newer Catholic struggling with where I fit in and with letting go of some base desires
I no longer have those struggles. I have prayed for hundreds of people. I have sat in silence with Jesus and let Him work on healing my once-damaged heart, and my cup now overflows
I will continue regular adoration, but it is time to pass the torch of this beautiful time slot to someone else. I pray that their life is impacted even more than mine has been
I can’t recommend regular adoration enough to people. There is so much power in sitting silently, humbly and gratefully in front of the Creator of the Universe. He gave us the gift of His real presence because He knows we need it. I know I do
If everyone knew the power of regular adoration, our chapels would be packed worldwide
I am beyond grateful

2 Corinthians 3:15 - 4:1, 3-6
Brothers and sisters:
To this day, whenever Moses is read,
a veil lies over the hearts of the children of Israel,
but whenever a person turns to the Lord the veil is removed.
Now the Lord is the Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is,
there is freedom.
All of us, gazing with unveiled face on the glory of the Lord,
are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory,
as from the Lord who is the Spirit.
Therefore, since we have this ministry through the mercy shown us,
we are not discouraged.
And even though our Gospel is veiled,
it is veiled for those who are perishing,
in whose case the god of this age
has blinded the minds of the unbelievers,
so that they may not see the light of the Gospel
of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
For we do not preach ourselves but Jesus Christ as Lord,
and ourselves as your slaves for the sake of Jesus.
For God who said, Let light shine out of darkness,
has shone in our hearts to bring to light
the knowledge of the glory of God
on the face of Jesus Christ.

Yet @GovPritzker has not one word about the abortion provider at the "Equity Clinic" in Champaign, IL who left the entire torso and head of a 22/23-week fetus inside the abdomen of its mother - and then put the woman in a car and sent her back to Indiana. https://t.co/Sx4Zxy7Fng
It's BAAACK! In massive new study, DIY chemical abortion pills found to cause severe adverse effects in 11% of women! This is 22x higher than rates reported by @US_FDA which relies on outdated & partial data. #ProtectLife#MakeAmericaHealthyAgain https://t.co/x9P2K3o5EH
Largest-ever study on chemical abortion re-confirms that mifepristone is extremely dangerous. 1 in 10 women had dangerous complications like sepsis or hemorrhaging.
That’s 22X higher than what the Obama FDA approved label read.
Why is the public still in the dark? 🧵
Restorative reproductive medicine (RRM) is more effective than IVF, is cheaper than IVF, and has zero of the ethical issues.
BIG FERTILITY doesn't sell RRM because it's not the IVF cash cow selling powerful drugs, injections and labs where embryos are created and frozen.
RRM focuses on improving health of our natural reproductive systems.
We should be funding and encouraging RRM, not IVF!

Chicago Bears owner Virginia McCaskey has died at 102. A devout Catholic, she sat in the front pew for 6:15 a.m. daily Mass for decades. Mrs. McCaskey took pleasure in gifting people rosaries with beads in Bears colors - orange and navy blue. May she rest in peace.
Administering communion on the tongue at an altar rail:
1. is quicker for the priest
2. gives the communicant a bit more time with the Lord
3. allows for a more reverent posture
4. Helps the people to participate more fully
5. Helps prevent abuse of the sacrament
6. Helps the people connect physically with the great tradition
7. Distinguishes Catholic Eucharist from Protestant services.
