Consiliae maps the maths you already know, finds the exact prerequisites you're missing, and builds a route through only what you actually need to reach your goal.

This is a big part of it tbh. Struggling with maths doesn’t mean you’re not intelligent. A lot of the time it just means there are gaps underneath the thing you’re trying to learn.
That’s basically why we built Consiliae. Find the missing pieces, learn them in the right order, then keep building. Maths first, physics next, and eventually one connected map across STEM (including physics)
@sleepylovesu This is exactly the kind of thing Consiliae is for tbh.
You don’t have to guess where “the basics” should start. It checks what you still know, finds the gaps, and gives you a route forward from there.
Good luck, you’ve got this.
@Corbienest@anisenot This is such an underrated way to do it. Get the tiny building blocks really solid first and everything later feels less painful.
Maths gets a lot easier when the basics stop taking up so much brain space.

@sammajayi Yep, us 👋
Consiliae lets you pick a goal, maps the prerequisites behind it, checks what you already know, and builds the route around the gaps instead of putting you through a whole fixed course.

@redindiantrader This is exactly it. The problem now isn’t access to information, it’s knowing what to learn, in what order, and what you’re missing underneath it.
That’s basically what we’re building Consiliae for. Pick where you want to get, and build the route from where you actually are.
@SecondNameAxel And when something doesn’t click, the useful question usually isn’t “how many more times should I practise this?” It’s “what am I missing underneath it?”
That’s a big part of what we’re building Consiliae around.
This is basically the idea behind Consiliae.
Start with what you actually want to do, then work backwards through the maths you need to get there. CS, physics, quant, robotics, whatever the goal is.
We’re starting with maths, but the long-term plan is one connected map across STEM so you learn the concepts your goal actually depends on, instead of taking a bunch of disconnected courses.
@sglockett Yeah, this is the maths that sneaks into basically everything. Discounts, interest, splitting bills, comparing deals, reading stats.
You don’t need to love maths, but being comfortable with it makes life a lot easier.
I wouldn’t spend the 7 days blindly starting from zero.
Figure out which algebra/precalc bits you still remember first, then only fill the gaps that limits, derivatives and integrals actually depend on.
That’s basically why we built Consiliae. Pick the goal, it works backwards through the prereqs and cuts out what you already know.
I think this makes the way we learn maths more important, not less.
If AI can do more of the computation, the bottleneck becomes knowing what concepts matter, how they connect, and what you actually need to understand to reach a goal.
That’s basically the long-term vision for Consiliae: one connected map of knowledge across maths, physics, stats, CS, engineering and beyond. Tell it where you want to get, it works backwards through the dependencies, figures out what you already know, and builds the shortest route through what you’re missing.
Not “take this course.” More like “here’s the exact knowledge between you and the thing you want to understand.”
