Today, Kenya Railways marked an important milestone as we celebrated the holing through of the Ngong Tunnel. The tunnel, which is the first on Kenya's SGR network, is 4.5km long and is on Phase 2A of the SGR (Nairobi - Naivasha).
1/2 In a bid to maximise port efficiency, the SGR project has extended a three-kilometer relief line from berth 1 all the way to Port Reitz marshalling yard. It will now be easier to load cargo onto the SGR from from anywhere around the port area. #SGRProgress#SGRCargo
