If you ever struggle with finding time to pray, I recommend trying St. Seraphim of Sarov’s prayer rule. The Lord’s Prayer x3, Rejoice Theotokos x3, and the Nicene Creed. It doesn’t take long to do and is so powerful.

@katherineortho For some reason, a lot of men don’t like this article, but I as a husband really do think that most of what you say is true. Some men in the church are unreasonable in regards to what they expect in a partner, and the men themselves don’t hold themselves to similar standards.

I feel for all of the dudes out there trying to find an Orthodox wife. I also feel for all of the women, more so actually. I find that many Orthodox men have unrealistic expectations when it comes to how a woman should act in a relationship. Some are downright creepy to women.
