I’m still calling bullshit on the software factory bois.
I’ve not written code since March. I’m using Codex, Claude, and Grok Bot non stop through the day; at home, in the cab, at the gym. I’m building stuff people actually use. Not millions but tens of thousands.
And I’m still not running 20 agents in parallel for 8 hours at a time.
And every time some dude tries to prove me wrong , he shows me a piece of shit generic software factory or social media scheduler. It has no users and the sloppiest of landing pages (“coming soon”).
It still takes a LOT of work to drive what to say no to and to sweat the details.
Some data we recently assembled on entrepreneurship/compute in Europe: https://t.co/x8pbpHLun7.
We hope that one of the useful roles that Stripe can play is in collecting and publishing empirical data pertaining to entrepreneurship and industry in Europe. There's growing appetite to get Europe on a better footing, and cross-sectional comparisons can often shine light on where opportunities lie. If you're interested in this kind of thing, we publish more at https://t.co/YoZDuYbaBi.
For large projects, this is the absolute best way to go. Yes, it’s more work to start with, but saves SO MUCH time and work on the back side. I am shipping things correctly and bug free for the first time in months.
I have officially gone the opposite direction from what everybody is doing in agentic coding. Instead of trying to automate more and getting sloppy results, I’ve changed my infra to ask me about every single change it will make and work with me on them. Better than vibe debugging

@MarioNawfal I don’t know where you’re getting your facts from. It’s 31C/89F in Miami right now. It hasn’t hit over 100F since the 1920s if I’m not mistaken.
@AnthropicAI what is going on with Opus 4.6? I'm not going to exaggerate and say it's unusable, but it is not the same model I decided to pay such a high price per token for, that's for sure. I'm going back to Grok, this is a ripoff.
@Hjortfan1337 @Ric_RTP Thats like saying the internet is just a Ponzi scheme because people use it to trade stocks. All of this while you’re writing something on the internet… it’s not too late to delete this.
@RoundtableSpace Im ok with them doing that and understand that their business model might require them to do it. What im not ok with is that we are spending the same dollar amount per token on what we are led to believe is the same product when it is clearly inferior. Price should reflect this.
