@BobKnezevic@DJNMelbvic Surely Kallis in the convo for goat all rounder too? 3rd highest test run scorer, nearly 300 test wickets, bowled 90 clicks, unreal in the slips, what more could you want?
@Shahviar07 @v3rst4pp3n_ @TayHavingFun@mcfc_lads Mate I’m not saying they definitely did cheat - and neither is he. He’s just saying that they are currently in court being tried for it.
@LeftCM@SeanDOlfc To be fair Carra also said he’d probably go with Trent in a few years, just atm couldn’t pick him over someone with 8 first division titles and 4 European cups
@EduDynasty @cpfc98 @lukewallis82@JackDaviesSCFC Which have evolved over time because they realise that allowing this rest and recovery dramatically improves performance and productivity - why should football be any different just because they earn more or because people want to watch them work?
@EduDynasty @cpfc98 @lukewallis82@JackDaviesSCFC Not disagreeing that it’s a working man’s game. People do care when their favourite players get benched, or don’t get benched and subsequently end up injured. Every other profession has to follow rules ensuring the health and safety of employees isn’t at risk 1/2
@EduDynasty @cpfc98 @lukewallis82@JackDaviesSCFC The backlash if organisations banned personalities such as Allison, Vinicius,
Klopp would be orders of magnitude higher than if lower league players did it - which is why they can complain and the EFL players don’t really have the choice to, don’t want controversy following them.
@EduDynasty @cpfc98 @lukewallis82@JackDaviesSCFC It’s not distasteful at all - the top level bringing light to it you’d hope would have a knock on effect in realising you need to look after the athlete’s too, and that throwing more money at it doesn’t make a human body heal quicker when it’s already at its limit.
@Nabyllionaire Maybe lotta bonuses? If they’re worried about injury record just saying yeah we’ll pay you more every x amount of minutes/appearances etc etc as well as the usual performance bonuses
