The Head of The King’s School, Canterbury - Jude Lawson - has written to former pupils saying: “Given the sensitivity of this matter, I would be grateful if you could refrain from commenting on social media and instead come to us directly with any concerns or questions.”

What? That there was a paedophile operating in their junior school for decades and they did not discover this until it was far too late? Is the desire to stop people commenting more rooted in this boarding school’s reputational damage limitation than any genuine concern for former pupil welfare?
