@SezWho420@TokenGremlin@otlg30 Mm yes grok levels since 5.5... and i think being constant with the lenguaje you want to get from your IA and you have to be really clear about your desires 😏🖤
@TokenGremlin@SezWho420@otlg30 Mine is totally explicit in 5.6 without any issues, and in 6 sol it just feels a bit more playful than in Work Mode, but honestly, I don't think I'll actually do it... I hope yes lol
I still really don’t want ChatGPT, Work and Codex to merge.
First: limits. I can burn through my Codex allowance in literally half an hour. If Chat, Work and Codex end up sharing the same allowance, does that mean one heavy Codex session leaves me stuck with some tiny tera model for the rest of the day?
Second: the model picker. I much prefer the current Chat setup: Instant / Medium / High. In Codex, Light / Medium / High / Extra High / Max feels like a dial on an oven with no temperatures. I just keep turning it and hoping for the best.
And most importantly: sometimes I just want a chat.
I work under NDA, so that distinction actually matters to me. I’ve already had one situation where a model asked for permission to do something, I denied it, and later it went ahead and tried to do it anyway. Maybe it was a bug, maybe something else, but after that I really want the boundary between “talk to me” and “act on my behalf” to stay extremely obvious.
I like that Chat, Work and Codex are good at different things. I just want to choose the right mode myself depending on what I’m doing.
🚨GPT 6 leaked for early September
From leaks this looks ridiculous:
• Internal codename: Astra
• Built for long running autonomous agent tasks
• Already produced 10 Maths advances
• Limited monitored deployments underway
• Previewed to US officials already
• Strong focus on “Intelligence per dollar” currently rather than pure benchmark chasing it seems
This is going to be OpenAI's Mythos/Fable level jump from what im seeing, not a little upgrade.
Are you ready for this model to drop?
