Your new election results website sucks terribly. You have done the impossible — uniting the left and the right in complete agreement over how unacceptable this new site is.

As the state faces run-on, multi-billion dollar deficits, I can only imagine the taxpayer money wasted on developing this garbage architecture.

Sec. Steve, I want that little map back. I’d like to have all the legislative districts available. And to really show how inefficient our government is, Rep. Stokesbary created a better version in one night with zero dollars, available for all who enjoy viewing election results in relative peace and ease without going absolutely insane over navigating a website.

The insanity should be saved for the elections themselves, not a government website. The zero budget, last minute, House Republican version of your website is objectively superior in every way. Do better.

Income Tax Initiative Update!! Everybody hates the Income tax

-As we mentioned earlier we gathered 92,780 signatures in the first week
-But the make up of those signers is interesting.
-We ran a voter ID model on all the signers so far

And the model tells us
49.64% are Dems/Indep
50.24% are Republican

-However, 27,655 of those 92K signers have never signed even one of our other initiatives in any prior year
- The party make of new signers is as follows:
Republican 36.49%
Independent 33.21%
Democrat 30.29%

64% of those who have never signed an initiative but did sign IP26-645 to stop the income tax , so far, are either Democrat or Independent.

This is not a partisan issue
-People understand the tax is coming for them.
-They don’t trust Olympia to spend the money wisely, and
-they seem to be really pissed about the unconstitutional approach taken by Jamie Pedersen and Bob Ferguson

Turd Ferguson is lying. Here is why:

1) He slapped an emergency clause on a law that doesn't go into effect until 2028 to make it harder for voters to challenge the new income tax
2) He could have tried the income tax via constitutional amendment and didn't because he knows voters have rejected it 11 times
3) The Democrats rejected any restrictions that would have limited the income tax to just millionaires
4) Ferguson is trying to get a super majority which can override his veto and then he can claim the Legislature did it, not him even though he is the one who signed the unconstitutional income tax into law and championed it
5) He supported efforts to destroy the initiative process in the Legislature

How do you know Ferguson is lying? His lips are moving

It is so curious that Bob Ferguson was against any income tax until he had a bunch of meetings with union thugs and then he switched - now he is all in on an income tax

-meanwhile the union thugs launched a PR campaign with bogus complaints to the PDC to try to stop our initiative process… how curious the connections

- now Bagdad Bob, seeing how popular our initiative is to stop the income tax is promising restraint on expanding the income tax — you should totally believe him

-of course this is just a week after he pledged to personally lead an effort to gerrymander state legislative districts to create a super majority that would ensure that representatives who oppose an income tax can be run over by an Olympia tax and spend steam shovel…

Washington's new income tax is the final straw for Jon Bodwell, owner of Delta Camshaft.

Jon is the 2nd generation owner of this camshaft modification shop that has been in Tacoma for 48 years, but is selling the (graffiti covered) building and moving everything to Arizona. He cites "crime, taxes, and business climate" as reasons he is leaving, and frankly who can blame him?

If a business cannot make a profit in Washington state or has to deal with a hostile government, they are going to go where the grass is greener. Basic economics, which Progressive Democrats are trying to ignore.
