MANHUNT IS ON: Seattle cops are now looking for a DESC resident who allegedly choked out his girlfriend Saturday night.
It appears the suspect has escaped this notorious permanent supportive housing facility.
Officers say they cannot find the man.

BREAKING: A domestic violence suspect inside DESC’s Hobson Place in South Seattle may have escaped from the apartment complex. The SWAT team is leaving and several officers say the suspect is no longer in the building.

HAPPENING NOW: Seattle PD’s SWAT team is inside the Downtown Emergency Service Center’s Hobson Place in South Seattle.
A resident of this notorious DESC permanent supportive housing facility off Rainier Ave S. allegedly strangled his girlfriend Saturday evening.
The suspect has barricaded himself inside a room and is a repeat offender with a lengthy rap sheet.
The standoff has been going on for several hours at this taxpayer funded apartment complex.
Hobson Place and other Housing First facilities continue to trigger the most 911 calls in the city and remain a massive drain on taxpayer resources.
DESC residents regularly smoke fentanyl behind closed doors and are also blamed for other disturbances in the area.
Socialist Seattle Mayor Katie Wilson has advocated for these crime magnets and says this is one of her solutions for the city’s homeless drug crisis.

Washington ‘Learing Centers’?

It’s true. Some home daycares in WA are receiving millions in taxpayer funds every year, above what they could even receive based on what they are licensed for. The math doesn’t work. Do you believe a small home daycare with 0-5 kids should be making over $1m per year? Thats nuts!

When Republicans pointed at specific cases and asked DCYF explain it on the public record, they declined to respond. A stunning admission that something is very wrong.

Later, House Republicans passed some good fraud accountability amendments in another bill. Democrats later killed that bill for no reason to cover up the fraud.

I was listening to @nickshirleyy last night, and thought of this house floor debate. It’s critical that we expose and defeat fraud in our state.
