@Apple3_14_ Marigold was beaming as Apple drank the nectar, happy that she was sharing something! "How was it?" She asked.

@Apple3_14_ "I don't have a cup." She frowned and besides it's too late. "Sorry Apple."

Her hands weren't dirty at least, in fact they were very clean. Very slender.

@Apple3_14_ "A silly thing?" Marigold asked as she held her hands close to Apple, ready for them to drink. "Good silly or bad?"

The Tree kept watching, aware of Apple's knowledge of the horror.

@Apple3_14_ "I got the nectar!" Marigold called out as she descends to Apple with her hands cupped, in it was this sweet smelling liquid.

"It comes in different colours but yellow is common- Apple? Apple did you see something?" She noticed their expression, "did something happen?"

@Apple3_14_ The roots held Apple, just loosely cradling them as they wait for Marigold to return.

But that hole, that void was calling... It was so dark, hardly anything was visible that was until Apple saw it.

There was some ragdoll like thing inside the tree and it was staring at them.

@Apple3_14_ The roots moved to wrap around Apple's hand, looping around it in loose coils. Maybe what Apple saw was just a trick of the light, maybe it was just nothing.

Apple felt its gaze upon them once more, will they try and stare into the void again?

Is this a tree or not?

@Apple3_14_ Marigold got up and did the hand motion for "stay" before flying off to grab some nectar from the Tree. Disappearing into the leaves.

The fairies were all being fat little bugs right.

@Apple3_14_ "It's sweet! Very sweet." She explained, "it produces the nectar after eating and we get to eat, sometimes we get it from the flowers out side of the cabin."

@Apple3_14_ "Aw!" She went back to eating the croissant, a slight frown on her face at Apple's comment. Oh, they put themself down and she wanted to really say something about it but... not the right place for it. "I usually drink nectar."

@Apple3_14_ "What's this called?" Marigold asked as she holds it in front of Apple, seems the Tree had decided to close the hole up to rest.

@Apple3_14_ The Tree gazed back at Apple, now knowing the twisted truth about it, Apple couldn't help but noticed something behind the bark was moving slightly with every breathe it takes.

Marigold moved her head in the way of Apple to hold up a pastry, asking about it.

"The Tree has a mouth in the tree trunk, it can eat. Sometimes it will move up and we just throw the food into its maw."
