@mblairYQR The event in Kelowna was a smash 💥, however Doman did it 2 promote Lions in interior not 4 expansion. A CFL expansion team in 🇨🇦 is a 500M project (add in stadium, fees, start up). Then there’s the 40M+ annual operating budget, all in a market smaller than Regina, but OK⁉️

@RedBlackGade Yeah it’s all of the above, but have no doubt name change #1 issue. The people who buy the tickets were invested in the ‘Eskimo’ brand. They should have adapted an Inuit themed logo, had camps and trips 2 Edmonton 4 games from northern communities and saved legacy 💯
