I'm sure you have noticed recently that #Glasgow #Subway stations have been closed on a regular basis, even up to 1/3 of stations being closed due to 'operational issues'

@ScotNational @Glasgow_Live @STVNews a third of stations will be closed on the Glasgow Subway. Not due to covid, but due to mismanagement. This has been an ongoing problem where they've forced staff to work over time well beyond legal safety critical levels. Breaking point.

@Glasgow_Times No operational issues. Dreadful management, slicing staffing budget to pennies and pocketing the rest for multiple managers all doing the same role. No security to be seen either. I can absolutely guarantee that the staff aren't off with covid. There just aren't enough staff.

@STVNews If there are any staff off with covid, it's one or two. I can promise you and the Glasgow public it's the result of skimming money from staffing budget for years.

@STVNews I can absolutely guarantee this is absolute lies. The Subway has been operating with dangerously low staff levels since below covid. There has been a environment of fear ever since a certain ex police chief took charge, running staffing levels down. They bully staff to work OT.
