Think beyond fiat.

@a16z Coming from a German: you nailed it. Our country is going down the drain.
The trouble is UK didn't get the news. Where will UK and Germany be on the scale in 10 years?

[Georg Wagner @ContacttheGeorg]

@SimonDixonTwitt War is back in Europe.
Government debt is sky high in Europe.

No coincidence there. Historically war break out at the end of a debt cycle. Politicians try to blame an enemy for all the problems created by debt. @RayDalio writes about that.
Why should our lifetime be different?

[Georg Wagner @ContacttheGeorg]

@zerohedge Mass migration is just another symptom of badly managed states. As long as voters from left and right fight over such issues, politicians are safe.
At the bottom of the problem is fiat money. It allows missmanaged states to continue.
Fix the money, fix the state.

[Georg Wagner @ContacttheGeorg]

If you are over 60 years and think a good pension is sufficient, here is the bad news:
- the long-term debt cycle is near the end
-all that debt will never be paid back
-governments will print, to finance debt
-inflation will increase

Your whole life the debt cycle went up. The next years will be different.

Own hard assets.

[Georg Wagner @ContacttheGeorg]

@MichaelAArouet Real means adjusted for inflation. But who is giving out those official inflation statistics? Are they honest? From my experience, not so much.
Gold is a much better tool to mesasure purchasing power. It works since 5000 .years

[Georg Wagner @ContacttheGeorg]

@MichaelAArouet The Polish people still get ripped of:
-nominal wages doubled
>>deduct inflation
>>real wages only rose 25%

Howevr, the best comparison is gold. It works since 5000 years. And there you see that Polish wages still make their people poorer..

[Georg Wagner @ContacttheGeorg]

@1MarkMoss Yes. I guess the Germans still feel guilty and try to punish themselves.

[Georg Wagner @ContacttheGeorg]

There is only one nation in the world that shut down its energy.

This nation used to produce steel, cars and machines.

The world admired the quality of its products.

All that is changing fast. The last step of a badly run nation is war.

It would be their 3rd WW.
Which nation?

[Georg Wagner @ContacttheGeorg]

@RonStoeferle Higher oil prices would be only a temporary spike in inflation. It is the continous printing of money that is fuelling inflation. The theft with fiat money is much older than Trump.

[Georg Wagner @ContacttheGeorg]

@RonStoeferle Sarcasm is the only way to cope with what is coming:
-Higher inflation
-Old people losing their life savings
-Young people not getting ahead financially

Protection can be as simple as buying gold or bitcoin. Starting with small investments is the way.

[Georg Wagner @ContacttheGeorg]

If you are over 30 years and can't afford a house:

Just wait.

There are millions of homes owned by the boomer generation. In the next 20 years many will move out.

Prices will fall.

Your time to buy will come.
But maybe there are better investments than a house?

[Georg Wagner @ContacttheGeorg]

@Power_Phrases It is fear that keeps people in those jobs. They remain slaves their entire life. Work with those fears:
-Write down what scenario you fear
-Think how you could repair it
-Write down what inaction costs you

You will realize inaction is more costly then action.

[Georg Wagner @ContacttheGeorg]

@RayDalio The warning sign:
When the debt burden becomes too high, young people feel it first. -They arrive late to buy assets. >>Prices are high already.
-Their income is insufficient to borrow
>>So they live with mom&dad and are angry

Listen to the canary in the coal mine.

[Georg Wagner @ContacttheGeorg]

@steve_hanke

[Georg Wagner @ContacttheGeorg]

@MichaelAArouet It's the old savanna brain from 10,000B.C. that is holding people back from investing now.
"What if price fall? What will others think?"
This fear of rejection is still hard wired. Back then the group ment survival. Now it's holding us back.

What is fear and what is real?

[Georg Wagner @ContacttheGeorg]

@100trillionUSD If someone didn' t buy yet, the reason is not a lack of information. It is fear disguised as smart reasoning: wrong time, high volatility.

In reality, leaving the fiat crowd and becoming a bitcoiner triggers the fear of rejection.

Work with that fear. Investing follows.

[Georg Wagner @ContacttheGeorg]

@Glenn_Diesen Yes history is a great teacher, if we are willing to learn.

[Georg Wagner @ContacttheGeorg]

Why buying gold and bitcoin is a peace project:
-Countries built up debt
-Money printing starts
-Inflation picks up
-Social unrest follows
-Politicians claim enemies inside and ouside are responsible
-War breaks out
- More money is printed to finance it
This is why historically wars break out at the end of a debt cycle. By investing in gold and bitcoin you sell fiat. The war machine cannot be financed.
Do your part for peace.

[Georg Wagner @ContacttheGeorg]

@saylor Bitcoin is a peace project, just like in that movie. Fiat brings war and chaos.
I am German. I know what i am talking about. The reason Germans are saving cash is a society trauma from two wars and hyperinflations. Fix that trauma and society heals financially.
