Loved the highlight on @containerd and our ability to plug in other shims and runtimes during the KubeSpin keynote with Fermyon and Zeiss this morning at #KubeConEU. The runwasi project and contributors have been an awesome addition to the project!
So cool that @castrojo took ownership of the project pavilion area at #KubeConEU and is running it with some serious passion! ❤️ His pavilion tours are such a cool idea and I enjoyed getting to share about @containerd with one of his crowds earlier. Thanks Jorge!!
Completely packed room and overflow line out the door for the @containerd maintainer session at #KubeConEU! Thanks to maintainers @fuweid89 and Akhil Mohan for presenting the update this time.
Showing @estesp the impact of running @containerd CI on @selfactuated / @AmpereComputing bare-metal
We spotted a huge spike in builds in early December, over 4x the average amount this month.
Note: containerd 1.6.28 and 1.7.13 *do not* fix any security vulnerabilities.
This release updates the release artifacts in containerd's github which do contain runc.
Unless you are using these release tarballs you still need to update runc. runc is the component affected.
A friendly programming update for your day: the @containerd maintainer session has moved from 4pm to 2:55pm today at #KubeCon. Hopefully if you were planning on coming you can make it at the new time!
