@GRDecter Those $57B in buybacks are mainly compensating for dilution from share grants to employees. You could almost consider them part of the wage costs.
@Carnage4Life I don’t see how this is a fallacy. Ads are necessarily only a subset of all results. This means that they cannot be the most relevant result for your search in most cases. Amazon’s search is so bad at this point that you have to resort to google to search it.
@mbfuchs@storyarkapp Works for me too. The problem is that I am terrible a gauging how much progress I am making.
You don’t notice the steady progress you are making day to day, but when it all comes together it feels like a huge leap forward which you attribute to that day only.
For perspective, if you somehow made $200,000 every single DAY from Columbus' landing in 1492 until now, you still wouldn't have the $44 billion to buy Twitter. It's pretty gross.
Every time I browse without adblock it feels like my laptop is about to launch into orbit or my phone becomes a protable aluminium smelting facility.
I wonder how much additional energy is costs just so we can have JS heavy, flashing, animated ads that make websites unusable.
@cachapa@SixtDE @ShareNow_global @MILESmobility@WeShare_DE Yes, we have the same philosophy although my totals are in the mid €200s per month. At the same time we spoil ourselves with really nice rentals and yet this is way cheaper than owning or leasing.
It's been months of hard work but StoryArk is finally here! Give us a try on iOS or Android. We'd love to hear your feedback - https://t.co/AuEOZbvTjB
