@SXR123 Watch the anime S-Cry-Ed.
Decent enough anime, but it ends with the two main characters beat the everloving crap out of each other with neither willing to give an inch.
And it means a lot more if you watch the entire show.
Making fun of superheroes because this shows ignorance of history.
When Superman was created, carnival Strong Men frequently wore only their underwear in order to show off how muscular they were.
"Underwear on the outside" = visual shorthand for "this dude is strong".
"The most obvious way [air conditioning] worsens the problem is by raising energy demand"
No one ever says this about heating, even though 1) heating is more energy-intensive than air conditioning, and 2) it's easier to heat yourself up (put on a coat!) than cool yourself down

Last night, I read the entirety of C.S. Lewis' The Screwtape Letters. It's a novel told in the form of letters written by a demon to another demon instructing him on ways to manipulate his "patient" to do evil.
This one quote sounded familiar.
