𝗤: Recently, you released the duet single “EYES CLOSED” with Zayn. It was such an unexpected combination that everyone was surprised. How did this idea come about?
𝗝: Around April this year, when I was in LA recording the song, someone suggested the idea that it would be great if the track came out as a duet with Zayn. I said, “Of course that would be amazing, but isn’t that more like a dream?” and just laughed it off, but it wasn’t a dream, it actually came true! Once Zayn joined, it felt like the song finally became complete. When I suddenly realized the two of us would have to film a music video together, I felt a bit awkward and froze up. But we talked about music and that helped us relax. Once we actually started filming, we sang together, had fun, and as we went on, the shoot felt more and more comfortable.
