If you'd like to see the full route - we did over 480 miles across the two days per the below! 17 buses and a ferry all the way from York to Cork.

In Ireland, the rules are slightly different... and the 40 Expressway from Rosslare to Waterford is stopping every few miles in small towns and has onboard ticket purchase so this is totally Bus #5 for today, bus #14 of the plan!
Also, hello from Waterford!

Welcome to Rosslare! Our first bus on the Irish side - bus #4 of today or #13 of the trip to take us off the ferry. Shame it's almost an hour after arrival...
We've had fish and chips in Fishguard - the place up the slope from the roundabout is recommended! - and are on bus #3 for a short hop from the terminal onto the ferry...

Fishguard's very silly "bus station" and it's onto bus #2, the T11 for a quick hop down to Goodwick! We're not on here for long...

Surprise set swap in Cardigan onto an Optare Tempo!! I love Richards Bros' absolutely chaotic fleet and it's definitely been a step up in the fun factor... onwards to Pembrokeshire!

Bus #10 (and the first of today) is a long one - it's the Richards Bros T5 all the way down to Fishguard! Wales has a lot of these routes that plug big gaps in the railway network.

Good morning from Aberystwyth!! We've been spread around the town tonight, with some in guest houses and some in the caravan park up the cliff.
Time to head onwards... #YorkToCork

A change using the pulse transfer in Dolgellau (several different buses line up to allow common interchange here) puts us onto bus #9 and our final bus of the day to Aberystwyth!
Too bad it's an E200...

Not impressed at all by the screens at Wolverhampton, which don't mention the split at Shrewsbury on this @tfwrail service.
It's only delivered as an announcement.
Bit of an accessibility failure. ^ RAV
