It's out at cost. Hampton is one of the few RBs that really has legitimate RB1 upside without an injury. However the other issue is he has a floor that is in the low end RB2 territory if they go to a RBBC approach (and Achane was so electric he did most of his work with 50%ish snap share).
I look at it this way. They will give Price every opportunity to win that job, and if all things are even, they'll give it to him. But with jobs on the line, if one of those other RBs is clearly better, then they will get the majority of the carries, while still giving Price opportunities. The possible biggest issue is even if Price wins it, Charbonet stole almost 50% of the work from a proven back, so it's hard to imagine Price gets it on his own the whole year, unless Charbonet stays hurt.
@FantasyPros I don't think there is a wrong answer. But Chase has shown he can still have value if Burrow goes down, I am not sure Puka would be able to without Stafford
I remember realizing that with Jimmy Graham, when you put up ppg for WR/TE, he was a mid tier WR1. Gronk, Graham, and Kelce were all putting up solid yards per game numbers too. Bowers has also sort of proved he can do it in a very bad offensive environment, and partially hurt. I have Bowers in a keeper league, so I am hoping with some offensive consistency, even average, he will be awesome.
@AceFafb The same goes of any soft drink, canned and bottled (your mouth usually goes over some of what the cap doesn't protect). But I just choose to turn that part of my brain off as I am opening up my pop.
I can understand the idea that it's the same guys over and over again (I personally don't care), but I think the idea that a Champion can lose at any moment is important. If Champions only lose on PLE, then what's the point of watching a RAW or Smackdown? The idea that no title run is too short, is important to keep people watching.
We didn't get an NCAA game for over a decade. If having this optional transaction allows that not to happen, I can live with it. The best NFL game I can remember was a 2K game with actual ESPN media coverage. I think many people would take a 2K NFL game like that if the only caveat was optional microtransactions.
@bordeauxyoutube@EASPORTSCollege I'd rather have the game and get to choose to use microtransactions, or not, then have to go a decade without the game. I know it's a preference many disagree with, and that's alright. Everyone is entitled to their opinion on something as trivial as a video game
@bordeauxyoutube@EASPORTSCollege Or even just make it a one time (not super expensive) purchase to get the fast coach xp and it probably fixes most, and also add the option to offline dynasty
I personally wouldn't mind it as much, but this is per coach I would imagine. So if you started a new dynasty, I am guessing you would have to use them again, which is crazy to me. I only play offline dynasty so it isn't even an option for me. I honestly wouldn't mind purchasing some upgrades, but it isn't an option in offline dynasty (that I mostly play while connected to EA servers, but not all of the time). If they added it, I would probably use it some.
I think you're right. I am not really a fan of either at cost, Hampton has a huge ceiling, but also a low floor (for his adp). But Achane I just think is in trouble. I think McDaniel was a big reason Achane had the seasons he had, because he had so much stuff designed for him last year, and that's even more impressive if you add that he didn't have a big snap share, so it shows how much McDaniel schemed him up. If he keeps a low snap share (for his adp) with a far less impressive play caller, he may really have a stinker
@TV03@FieldGeneral13@rTesty_@thejoeholkashow You have a good point. I think Ladd could, I love Lamar, he is my favorite player, but I don't know if can support a top 5 WR. I agree completely with Egbuka and Olave.
For me it is Higgins and it isn't that close. I had Pickens, most of his production came when Lamb was hurt, or clearly still bothered by his ankle. Higgins has shown, if Burrow is healthy, he and Chase can easily coexist. Plus, there is a chance Pickens pulls an AB and just quits
What coach is going to care how he compares to other 6th and 7th RBs? How does he compare to all rookie RBs? Playing a guy because he was good for where he was drafted doesn't seem like a habit for long term success as a coach. How much more money is White making than JCM if salary is going to be involved? I'm not saying White is a better RB, i just think comparing him to other late round RBs makes no sense.
@FantasyPros@LucasWencl If it is any kind of ppr, it has to be CMC. I understand the injury risk, but if he doesn't get injured, what makes anyone think he won't get the same volume he got last year? Without injury he has a really good chance to be better than those 2, fantasy wise.
I think mobile QBs in garbage time are sneaky players because just like underneath throws freely given to the defense, so are clear running lanes for 1st downs. On an 80 yard drive where the defense is in prevent, it is east to imagine a QB rushing for 3 1st downs and getting 30 yards rushing for free
But my original point is that Higgins best possible outcome minus a Chase injury is a low end 1. These other guys have shots, even if long shots, at being top 5 because they all could be the unquestioned 1 on their team. And I am not down on Higgins, in my 2 player keeper league we are keeping Bowers and KW9, so Higgins could be my teams WR1, and I'd be happy about that.
Why can't the narrative just be that women's basketball is in an amazing place, and these young women, and established vets are making this one of, if not the most, exciting time in the sports history? And I know CC fans are as much to blame as anyone, but we don't have to pick sides. We can appreciate all these women while still having favorites.
I don't think she dislikes CC, but it does sound like she may be a bit defensive, knowing this is being taped, and explaining why the things she typically focuses on are so important. But even if CC is a below average defender (statistically it doesn't show that, but teams do try and isolate her a lot), a good coach schemes them help. Curry is not a good defender, and teams like to iso him, but Kerr has found ways to not leave him on an island, or have players hedge to avoid the switch. If White can somehow find a way to keep the things she focuses on, while utilizing Clark's strengths, the skies the limit
