@kim12950030 @CoreyOCroft I'm a huge fan of the OG FF7, yet I also love the remake trilogy. Because the remake trilogy is more expansive, and its NOT the original. If people want to see a 100% accurate remake of the game, then just mod the shit out of it. these remakes are going to be played forever.

@kim12950030 @CoreyOCroft aiming for a "modern audience" is how we got RE7. what's the point of keeping everything the same? graphical fidelity has essentially peaked, and games that are released now are going to be played forever, as compared to older games that are inaccessible.

also, not all outfits happen to age poorly. Leon in RE4 has always looked great, and will continue to. but Claire's cartoonish design from the OG simply does not translate to modern audiences or the tone theyre going for.

@arcanaraccoon @FPSthetics I mean, most of this games haters are vocal only on twitter. if you go on any other platform, people sing it's praises all the time. I will admit that over time the faults are discussed more often, but they are still loved games
