@modernmomese I feel accomplished that we remembered to buy cards on the weekend and got them prepared on Sunday and not panic-writing on Monday night.
The @globeandmail continues to expose Doug Ford’s Greenbelt ‘swap’ for the fraud it is.
Nothing to do with affordable housing.
Everything to do with rewarding his developer cronies.
🙄🙄🙄
@fordnation @OntarioPCParty #onpoli
Imagine being told your daughter’s remains are likely in the land fill and they lack the capability and resources to recover her remains. This is a horror story set on repeat and no family should endure this level of atrocity. The harm is unspeakable.

In case they need reminding, I’ve compiled a list of all the times Doug Ford and his housing minister Steve Clark said they wouldn’t touch the #Greenbelt (caution: long 🧵 ahead):
#Greenbelt doesn't just include protected farmland & forest outside of cities, but urban river valleys in Toronto, Oshawa, Ajax and more. If @fordnation gets away with #Bill23 what is stopping him from destroying the parks and greenspace in heart of our cities as well? see map 👇

When I worked at Shops of the Don Mills the CQ was my comfort lunch spot.
It can’t be said enough: Private for-profit healthcare will only pull health workers away from our already collapsing public healthcare system and make our understaffing crisis even worse.
Private for-profit healthcare is not the answer. Investing in public healthcare is.
Past Presidents, from Lincoln to FDR, understood the dangerous stakes of allowing an unchecked Court overreach its authority and threaten our democracy.
Lincoln ignored the court to issue the emancipation proclamation.
FDR, in the plunges of the Great Depression, also sought…
I will repeat this as long as I have to, when the Supreme Court said in 1937 that the Social Security Act was “unconstitutional”, FDR didn’t ask people to vote harder in the next election, he told the Court he’d add more justices until they backed off, which they did.
@JenniferRiel It happened to me and it is personal. On the third day of our run-ins the bird and I locked eyes, they recognized me before swooping in for another attack. I started taking another route after that.
