love when dudes say “not my pope” as if he’s an elected official and not (according to doctrine) the successor of saint peter chosen by the holy spirit
Here’s one more Palestinian cat for you. 🇵🇸
This is Maria.
I found her tiny and alone on the streets of Gaza, so I took her with me to my tent and started feeding her, caring for her, and trying to keep her safe.
At the time, I didn’t know if she would stay with me.
But little by little, she grew, trusted me, and became part of my daily life and my family.
Today, Maria is still here with me, living in our tent and following me around like she has always belonged here.
Sometimes I look at her and remember how small and alone she was when I first found her.
Now she has a tent, a family, and someone who will keep caring for her.
My little Palestinian cat, Maria. 🇵🇸❤️
I'm sorry, but WHY THE FUCK don't big US-based "pro-Palestine" accounts around here promote Sam Husseini's campaign? Why isn't he being platformed regularly by American "alternative" media, instead of the Liberal Zionist celebrities whose faces we see every day?
It’s absurd that we’re still obsessing over the exact chants that were used. My town is being bombed. Gaza is being bombed. Palestinians are being killed. Yet somehow the discourse keeps getting dragged back to wording instead of the actual demands being made of Mamdani. Enough. Stop letting side debates derail the conversation. Keep the demands front and center. That’s the only thing that matters.
Native English speakers need to realize that when English learners alter even the pronunciation of their own names to accommodate you, they are swallowing a small measure of self-deprecation, especially when you can’t even pronounce simple foreign words like “sushi” correctly.
Much like Hamas, Hezbollah and the IRA - mainstream news only begin covering the story at the point when the Yemeni resistance fight back against their oppressors.
