NEW BLOG:
Midsummer thoughts on stuff and things. We've got some good players, we've got some big gaps. I hope we go into next season fit and ready and with some flexibility in our game plan.

How is this FIVE years ago?
I loved this day. It was something special.
@BraddersGraps@Athers83 Yeah, that's as good a reading as any - which indicates exactly what the issue is. VAR might work if it only about 'oi ref, Maradona punched that in mate' but trying to split 50/50 moments.. why have it?
Seriously VAR can fuck off.
What do we actually have to do to get rid of it?
Bad decisions have always been there. When they're made over minutes with multiple angles and then retroactively justified with some technical shite, it's far worse than an instinctive mistake
@TangerineRob@ChroniclesCAFC@GabSutton Don't you mean 'to be honest, he was awful for us, he's 100% got no chance at Charlton, might as well release him, worst player ever - probably you should cancel his contract now to be quite frank'

@NotOrangePod Yes, I agree on Walters. I think we'll look to play with one 'rock' in someone such as Horsfall and then two mobile players outside. Midfield is so key tho. If you don't win that, you can have any one at the back or up front and you're going to struggle.
@NotOrangePod Karoy is my favourite player this year I think. Walters was decent enough and certainly don't hate the idea of him signing - but I really, really liked what Karoy gave us - a bit of everything. Would love to see him and Albie on the pitch together. That would be none stop.
NEW BLOG - Cheers Hubby!
Is he the world's best left back? Maybe, maybe not.
Is he my favourite left back? Not even a question.

@ibbotsa Option is in the clubs' gift, not the players. We'd usually take it and hope to get a small fee.
I did wonder if we came to a gentleman's agreement that if he wasn't going to be a first choice, we'd waive the right to his option and therefore ease him into his next move.
Actually genuinely gutted. Not everyone rated him. In fact, some blamed him for everything but then, some were wrong and that's that.
Proper loved Hubby and his perennially knackered looking lurching run.
Best challenge I've EVER seen away at Bournemouth.
๐ธ Seven seasons
๐ธ 238 appearances
๐ธ One promotion
๐ธ Countless memories
After seven seasons by the seaside, James Husband will leave Blackpool following the expiration of his contract next month.
Thank you for everything, Hubby. ๐งก
We finished lower every season he was here. I get that he didn't pick the team but as the main man, ultimately, we didn't demonstrate progress and the 'product' declined.
