@hausdownn Hey! I just got off the member waitlist and have an extra ticket. I only have this twitter account but can DM you my instagram (we’ll have to meet there anyways since you’ll have to come in with me)
concert culture is ruined by camping and exorbitant prices but also by the weird obsession of fans on social media with shows needing to sell out completely like imagine you can go and get tickets at box office if you spontaneously want to be there? that should be normal.
going to wherever the next phoebe bridgers mystery show is and renting a fake tour bus and putting on a blonde wig and driving everyone to Indeed Headquarters ™️
@DeomnMusicil@thegala21 You’re good! Not your bad at all haha very reasonable. Just wanted to explain what was behind my reply as someone who likes to dig into music industry references
@sashafier6e@MuelChub@thegala21 sorry to be nosy (not that sorry since I’m still tagged in this) but the “I’m literally bi” is sending me
but also this^ we gotta stop thinking unilaterally about people based on where they were born/grew up and start showing more solidarity 🤷♂️
@sashafier6e@thegala21 yep! did not deny that, and that was also not the point that I was replying to 🤷♂️ not his fan & it’s not my circus, just a live music nerd who was trying to figure it out when I saw the pictures dropping

The Strokes' Coachella video montage displayed images of leaders purportedly targeted by the CIA, including Iranian Prime Minister Mohammad Mosaddegh, Congolese Prime Minister Patrice Lumumba, Bolivian President Juan José Torres, Panamanian leader Omar Torrijos, Guatemalan President Jacobo Árbenz, Chilean President Salvador Allende, and Ecuadorian President Jaime Roldós.
The video also stated the US government was "found guilty" of Martin Luther King Jr.'s murder in a civil trial, a reference to 1999's King family v. Loyd Jowers in which a jury found restaurant owner Loyd Jowers and "others, including government agencies," liable for King's assassination.
The montage ended with a message claiming that more than 30 universities in Iran have been destroyed during America's war with Iran, followed by a final image of "the last university standing in Gaza" being blown up in a military strike.
This takes courage…
The Strokes closed their Coachella set flashing images of the governments the CIA has overthrown, the leaders the US has assassinated including MLK 👀, the war crimes the US is committing in Iran, and the genocide Israel is committing in occupied Palestine.
