an improvement noticed on watchOS 27 dev beta 1: the ‘find my’ apps are now one unified app, and it offers precision find options — no longer need to use the control center to precision find.
a backup of a backup would be something like having a card that uses a different payment processor. but that probably more of cases such as if you’d go to a Costco (visa)
while most of the time I use Apple Pay, I always bring my cards. there’s been very rare cases where either a store doesn’t accept contactless or has a temporary issue where they can’t do contactless with a specific payment processor.
@advaithj1 maybe it’s a niche issue, but it looks like at least on mobile that if the DM convo would normally fall off the DM list (while still existing — no idea as to why even do that), despite it being pinned, it will also disappear until reopened.
@rushsilliness@33YYYYYYY@eepyeri i’ll give them credit: they’ve at least put in the additional effort of adding rudimentary support for t9 (could be better, but it was enough to go through the order form).
@rushsilliness@33YYYYYYY@eepyeri well, yes and no. browservice was used (common with such videos about using devices with old software on the modern web). it's not doing it directly (heavy lifting done by the computer running browservice), but there wasn't much of an option.
As much as it might look like I’m banging on about it, the audio is overall for the most part good.
As for the overall viewing: it was, you could say, amazing.
as this is a big screen sort of viewing of a YouTube series, I’m not surprised that it’s not making better use of the speakers. however, audio mixing is something they definitely could’ve been better adapted and would be a good thing to consider in future big screen viewings.
