@derekeagleton Hey Derek! Are you guys gonna post the full The Draft Show - Day 1 replay anywhere? I missed the first 14 picks and wanted to watch the replay!
@Aykis16 Just for shits and giggles, ones who would for sure go higher than Max:
Flagg, Harper, Edgecombe, Kon, Bailey, Fears, maybe Queen
Maybes: Murray-Boyles, Yang Hansen?
Who am I missing?
I apologize to the Kings for thinking they fouled Curry as a nefarious tanking strategy. I should’ve remembered that Doug Christie is an inept coach, so him inexplicably fouling a good FT shooter to set up a TO play was in play as either a f-up or a willfully dumb idea. My bad.
NBA statement: "The NBA has completed an investigation of the Sacramento Kings and Head Coach Doug Christie's decision to foul intentionally late in the team's game against the Golden State Warriors on April 7. The league's investigation determined that Christie mistakenly believed that the Warriors were not in the penalty and therefore instructed his team to foul in an attempt to stop the clock and utilize one of the team's remaining timeouts. The investigation found that Christie made no intentional effort to give the Warriors a shooting foul, or to cause the Kings to lose the game."

The two sets of free throws shown were the result of:
1) Christie wanting to stop play so he could call his use-it-or-lose-it timeout before time dropped below 3 mins.
2) Cardwell fouling Seth during a live rebound, and the Warriors being in the bonus.
McDermott, the same guy who gave the foul after being instructed, made a 3 the very next possession from a set play Christie drew up.
