God handpicked shepherds, who were at the bottom of the social ladder, to be the first evangelists with the message that the Messiah had come.

Jesus wasn’t a mere man or just one of the prophets. He was God, coming to us in human flesh. As Jesus entered our world, He was God with skin on, walking among us.
The birth of Jesus Christ was the most momentous event that has ever occurred in the history of the planet. The eternal God literally became a fetus and was born of a woman in order to be the Savior of the world.
Adam and Eve’s sin didn’t come as a surprise or shock to God. He knew it would happen. So He already had a plan. His Son would to come to this earth and be born in a manger, live a perfect life, and die on the cross for the sins of the world.
"We often seek to please ourselves first, instead of God. What is interesting is that when we seek to please God first, very often we discover that we end up far more pleased than we did when we put ourselves first." #BillyGraham
Jesus went from the throne of Heaven to a feeding trough. He went from the presence of angels into a cave or stable filled with animals. He who was larger than the universe became an embryo. The Almighty appeared on earth as a helpless human baby.
Through our Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) project in Bolivia, we're helping create access to clean water for schools, churches, and rural communities. See how you can bless a family in need with #cleanwater. https://t.co/98GTvZY0vB
The Bible tells us that “He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ” (Philippians 1:6) and that Jesus is “the author and finisher of our faith” (Hebrews 12:2 NKJV). So if God starts something, He finishes it. Isn’t that great to know?
