An interesting fact I came across:
Multiple sclerosis is almost nonexistent at the equator.
And the more you move away from it, your odds climb with every degree of latitude.
The pattern points at one thing we've spent 50 years avoiding: sunlight. (1/14)
David was hiking near the Golden Gate Bridge when he got unexpectedly dizzy and tired.
It was the same trail and pace he'd handled easily a year before. His doctor did a standard checkup months earlier and everything looked "normal."
Then he tested with Superpower.
His bloodwork flagged high CRP and elevated iron. These are the markers of chronic inflammation which are linked to heart disease, stroke risk, and even some cancers.
A routine physical would never catch this because they don't look for it.
His action plan targeted the diet driving the inflammation. A few months later he'd lost 15 pounds, and his routine hike felt easy again.
His reason for doing any of this:
"I have a daughter who is relying on me and ultimately I want to make sure that I'm around for my loved ones."
Every dad says some version of this.
And at the same time, a few of them know what's going on with their health.
This Father's Day, help yours find out.
