LAGOS FLOOD UPDATE !!!!

Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Deputy Governor, Dr Kadiri Obafemi Hamzat and other Senior State and Local Government officials today visited different areas in Eti Osa and Ibeju Lekki Local Government Areas where all the overflow from the heavy rainfall goes through to the Lagoon and other channels.

Mr Governor started the journey from Ogombo area, where all the water flows into the Ikota River.

He visited the Monastery Road, Sangotedo.

Mr Governor also visited the Gbetu, Iwerekun Community at the back of Mayfair Garden Estate, where work is already ongoing but other upgraded infrastructure is needed.

Finally Mr Governor visited the Chevron axis where a channel that was blocked is now open to resolve flood issues around Ajiran, Osapa London, Orchid, VGC and other areas.

Mr Governor spoke to the pressmen and assured Lagosians that more will continue to be done to mitigate issues surrounding the natural heavy rainfall and other canal/drainage issues across the State.

I think Isaac Fayose, one of the most vocal critics of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu among the Obidients, has realized that the President has done far more than what his critics choose to acknowledge.

He has openly expressed what many Obidients cannot say because of their deep-seated dislike for Tinubu.

This is just one of the many outcomes of President Tinubu's reforms, and there is still much more to come.

When Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, not arguably one of the most intellectually gifted individuals from that part of the country praised Tinubu's reforms, some children of perdition who have entered into a covenant with bad news attacked her, claiming she had been paid by the government.
