FORGIVING STUDENT LOANS IS GOOD, ESPECIALLY THE FIRST $5000 TO $10,000, SINCE THAT COVERS 100% OF THE DEBT OF MOST OF THE PEOPLE WHO DID NOT END UP GETTING DEGREES WHO ARE THE ONES THE SYSTEM MOST FAILED.
My favorite band growing up released an EP today (their first new music in like 10 years) and it's healing me in a way that not even my therapist can.

there is something incredibly satisfying about reading the first page of a book, and immediately something in your brain sits up and goes 'oh, i'm going to like this' — and then every subsequent page proves you right
I don't think there's a social media manager alive that actually knows how to work anything in Meta Business Suite--it's just Googling "How do I _____," asking other SMMs, and crying...lots and lots of crying.
Seriously, Meta Business Suite is just such a convoluted mess.
Healing isn’t easy.
Neither is living in painful patterns, hiding parts of yourself, and making sure everyone is comfortable while you betray yourself.
Healing takes work.
And it’s worth it.
The story you tell yourself about your healing matters.
You were built for difficult things.
I love this thread because it's a bunch of people trying to be mad at the fact that language is fluid and changes over time and Merriam-Webster just clapping back with links to their own website so people can see that their opinions are ✨️wrong✨️ 😅
Today, after yesterday's #IPCC report, everything is back to normal – as always. We continue to ignore the climate crisis as if nothing happened. Our societies are still in denial, and those in power go on with their never ending quests to maximise profits. We cannot afford this.
It's my honor to sign an expansion of the Elliott-Larsen Civil Rights Act into law. It reaffirms and expands legal protections for sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression. It ensures no one can be fired or evicted because of who they are or who they love.🧵
not a subtweet or anything just an occasional reminder that real and amazing people live here! using Lansing as a pejorative for political dysfunction is lazy and not clever, most of the people you're hating on live somewhere else
I hope it is understood by our out-of-town friends that living in the Lansing area means that everyone you know has deep ties to this campus. We work there. We play there. We met our best friends and partners there. We learned there. We have family and friends currently enrolled.
