im here to talk about 80s anime and how I can't handle virgos (he/they / 27 / ββπβ)
this account is so I can reply to people cause my main is locked
@kinpatsukenshi Knew a dude who killed his own brother because he took one of his green triangles. Never quite got over it but also swore he'd do it again to his other brother if he needed to.
@beyblade_og There are some, like the first EN Naruto that are embarrassing, there are some like the EN digimon where I can accept the JP is a better song but it just holds so much weight I can't give it up, yuyu Hakusho just having a banger cover...
And then there's "this is just better."
@lenka87reads The team with the most world series wins is literally the Yankees. Statistically the Yankees have always been one of the best teams. The only people who get offended at it are southerners because "no that's not right." But nobody else cares it just sounds soooo strange to me.
@MartiSegura@nbablancboy I meant the person I was talking to an hour ago not you. My bad on that.
The only reason you see us as similar is because we all speak English. If New York still spoke Dutch and California still spoke Spanish of course Europeans would see them as different. Hell I see LA as more
@HaroldJ_NEPA I only just noticed I fucked up because that's what I usually call them but when specifically making fun of the English language acronym I should have said liberation like they do lmao
@nbablancboy@MartiSegura This is hilarious because about an hour ago I said "the only difference in Europe is romance and Germanic Europe and Slavic if they're trying to pad the numbers." And bro padded them harder.
@tuuu28283 Before approximately 100 years ago it was actually more common to consider your state's governor more important than the president because state laws factored into your life more often.
@tuuu28283 It helps to think of America as a collection of states and not as a country divided up into states. Federal law, by design but unfortunately not in practice, should actually only regulate interactions between states and between America and foreign countries.
@CyborgPeds And my fav part is? Not having wide open spaces or being able to have big houses isn't their fault! It's not like they, as policy, decided that they'd live on a tiny island nation. You couldn't just build a sixth island off the coast of shikoku.
Unlike a nuclear power plant.
