The only important thing is that you stick to it.

No matter what you do, you have to intrigue the reader and promise (or at the least suggest) that you will give them value in exchange for the time it takes to read your writing.

It's impossible to overstate the value of a strong opener to grab attention, hook the reader and keep them reading.
