The new Oasis documentary Don’t Look Back in Anger has been selected for the 83rd Venice International Film Festival, taking place on the Lido di Venezia from September 2–12, 2026.
President Alberto Barbera said: “Oasis, Don’t Look Back In Anger, a film we have heard about recently. It is the exciting story that follows the the two brothers who have not spoken to each other for 12 years that dissolved one of the most famous rock bands in England at the time, but after so many years they unexpectedly reconcile and they start rehearsing for the formidable world tour that would follow.
“The film follows the rehearsals and the tour and the impact of the tour on the fans of Oasis, who again can find their idols re-proposing the songs they loved so much, years before.” He added with a smile: “The Gallagher brothers have promised they will be in Venice.”
