@gary_hedley1 @Peston This thinking is nonsensical. How many years were the tories in power and they inherited a relatively normal economy. They obliterated it.

Am I happy with Starmer? No. But let’s not pretend he’s been bad by conservative standards. Boring and lacklustre, maybe.
