F1 in Miami - hot, hot, hot. Beautiful city but🌞🥵! With @coop_____, Joey Molko, and Mikel Betts. Let's go! 💪🏎️ (Joey and Jack pictured below from @PrizePicks).
So much hard work behind the scenes from the entire team at @PrizePicks went into getting us ready for this football season.
It’s incredible to see us sitting pretty at #1 in the App Store 🚀🚀
@KarueSell@atptour@ptpaplayers Karue is spot on here. Having partnered with many top YouTube sports creators, I’ve seen that tennis is a niche that is far behind where it should be. Don’t be surprised if you see Karue and some newcomers become what has blossomed in the golf space over the past few years.
After a decade in the fantasy sports industry, founding @PrizePicks in 2017 and leading as its CEO since, I’m excited to share I will be stepping into the role of Executive Chairman and Special Advisor to the CEO. Mike Ybarra (@Qwik), a 25-year industry veteran and world-class leader, will be joining as CEO and as a member of our Board. I have the utmost confidence he’ll bring us to new heights in our next phase of growth. I look forward to partnering with him on the long-term vision for the company.
I’m extremely proud of our team and partners, all of whom helped to disrupt this industry and pioneer a new path for the #DFS space. Together, we achieved explosive growth and have created a highly engaged community of fans around the country. It's been a privilege to lead so many talented, innovative and driven colleagues.
While it’s been quite the journey so far, PrizePicks has its best days ahead of it, and Mike is an all-star. He is the perfect leader to take our team as we build this rocketship into a sports & culture entertainment brand which can outlast our lifetimes.
Despite the continued attempts from DraftKings and FanDuel to stifle our growth, @PrizePicks is not slowing down. When @roshamboe and I started working on PrizePicks in the Fall of 2017, we set out to bring a big B2C technology win to our hometown of #Atlanta.
As a career-long entrepreneur in Georgia, I watched LA get a lot of recognition last decade for producing the likes of Snapchat, Tinder & GoodRx, and it irked me to see a city known for other industries become a darling in tech circles overnight. Atlanta had a ton of B2B success stories over the years and always had the ingredients to become a Top 5 technology community in the country, but one of the bigger things missing were those notable consumer-facing victories. When I grew up, I recall WebMD, Weather & Mindspring put us on the map in the Late-90s, but other than some good notoriety for Scoutmob & Yik Yak a decade back, it's been a minute since Atlanta was known for those consumer tech Ws.
We take great pride in carrying the torch forward with the likes of Greenlight and Bark in this 2020s wave, and look forward to the day when Atlanta gets it's proper due and Top 5 designation. #ATL #LFG
