At the moment there’s no downside to walking them, if they’re at least adding the 4 pitches in then that’s somewhat of a downside for the pitching team. Would be boring af though haha

I know the rule was changed to speed up the game, but you’re going to lose fans by not having your best batters even stand at the plate anymore. Time to go back I say. Otherwise the pitching team gets to get away Scot-free from being too scared to pitch…?

Shouldn’t be allowed to walk a batter without throwing pitches. That should be the tradeoff - have to throw 4 garbage balls so you still get the wear on the pitcher. This is just chicken baseball from Toronto (who are well within their right as rules stand) #Dodgers #WorldSeries
