🕊️ Imagine spending one hour in jail for a crime you didn't commit. In a state you'd never set foot in. All because an algorithm said you did.

Now imagine five months of that.

Her name is Angela Lipps. A 50-year-old Tennessee grandmother who lost five months of her freedom in a North Dakota jail cell. She'd never been to North Dakota. She lost her home, her car, her dog.

Her charges were dismissed on Christmas Eve, after her attorney produced bank records proving where she actually was.

The harder truth? The police, the investigators, the prosecutors, the judge. No one did their job. They handed it off to facial recognition technology and shrugged.

That's what happens when we trust algorithms over humans. Common sense, missed. Humanity, abandoned.

If the surveillance state keeps creeping, the next freedom on the line is ours. One convenience at a time. One "match" at a time. One life at a time.

The excoded already had names. Robert Williams. Porcha Woodruff. Randal Reid. Today we add Angela. That's a pattern at least fourteen names deep, and nearly every one of them is Black.

🚨 They keep saying the quiet part out loud.

A leaked Meta internal memo shows the company planned to launch facial recognition technology on its smart glasses during what it called a "dynamic political environment." Translation: they wanted to ship surveillance infrastructure while the news cycle was loud enough to drown us out.

This wasn't an honest mistake, it was a blueprint and a confession.

It's their worldview, written down: Make the surveillance feel like a convenience. Ship it while the watchdogs are distracted. Normalize it. Expand it. Apologize later, if at all.

But the watchdogs aren't distracted.

The problem with the voting machines being on the internet is that they could potentially be hacked and reconfigured. I don’t know what kind of intrusion detection the machines have to check that.
