Introducing Co-owned AI (#coownedAI):
AI has the potential to shape our world in profound ways, but who gets to own and control it?
At @EthereumDenver, our CEO @david_enim introduced this concept & how DAOs could be its primal form.
Here are some takeaways.👇

Autonolas provide a path to co-owned AI. "It is a very natural North star for a DAO to become a co-owned AI" David Minarsch, Co-Founder of Valory @david_enim
Thanks to our latest #coownedAI, some of the top DAOs can now govern billions autonomously!
An irreverent experiment designed so you:
1. Say goodbye to reading proposals
2. Select "Good" / "Evil"
3. Let it do the rest!

Introducing Governatooorr: An Autonomous AI-powered Delegate for DAO Governance.
A cutting-edge light-hearted experiment, plus a simple, robust & extensible model for building AI x Web3 apps.
In this thread:
✦What it is
✦How to use it
✦Use for DAOs
✦How to combine AI x Web3
Co-owned AI and DAOs provide a more equitable distribution of power and decision-making in the development and deployment of AI.

In our view, this involves both on-chain and off-chain systems.
The on-chain DAO would govern an off-chain system, which would focus on compute and running the AI.
(Check out the slides on our site for various modes of deployment -> link in @coownedAI bio.)
To bring DAOs into a state in which they can steward #coownedAI, we need to solve these issues.
We need to reduce governance to the minimum necessary and remove manual and ad hoc processes to achieve actual autonomous operations and decision-making.
However, DAOs in their current state still have growing pains.
The complexity of decision-making can lead to inefficiencies, and achieving consensus can be difficult, leading to decision paralysis.
Moreover, DAOs often DAOs struggle to leverage expertise, leading to inefficacy.
DAOs are designed to be owned and controlled by their members. They provide a viable vehicle through which to co-own AIs and democratize artificial intelligence.
In contrast, #coownedAI would be collectively owned and controlled by a community that shares responsibility for its development, deployment, and governance.
But how can we achieve this distribution of power and value?
Enter DAOs.
However, today, ownership of this value is mostly centered around single entities, giving them full control over the development, deployment, and governance.
This concentration of power raises questions about the equitable distribution of power and decision-making.
AI is the idea of using computers to mimic what we can do with our brains. It is a powerful idea and one that is already generating immense value. Just look at how @OpenAI, @midjourney_ai, @StableDiffusion, and countless others are changing the game.

@EthereumDenver@kupermind@david_enim@autonolas Huge idea & narrative! Everyone is trying to make sense of how AI is going to impact us esp as it’s heavily centralised !
Co-owned AI is a serious push to break up structures and use blockchain for co-control + wealth creation 🔥
