In Lima 🇵🇪 our work was led by @oscargffu and @jjaimemiranda in collaboration with @cronicasperu and @PrismaONG. The prevalence of #COPD here was 3% and screening tool accuracy was 72-91%. You can read more in the current issue of @JAMA_current. Here is our awesome field team🔽
The results of our @The_MRC#COPD screening study found a prevalence of 18% in Bhaktapur, Nepal, and that simple tests identify a high-burden of important disease. Thanks to our incredible🇳🇵field team. Research led from @ucl by @ProfHurst.
