@BetsyUFDNPtobe The business part of practice is intimidating and important to be included in APN education, it is a weak point for many.

[Sara Copeland @copelandUFDNPst]

@tbarry_NPtobe Wow, that is not enough! more faculty and clinical sites are needed world wide to educate more nurses at all levels.

[Sara Copeland @copelandUFDNPst]

@kpravetzBSN2DNP Fully online programs can be great for busy people to continue education, but there are some concerns with quality.

The use of technology, in the form of simulation labs, can make clinicals more meaningful and efficient for nursing students at all levels.

[Sara Copeland @copelandUFDNPst]

Social media is one of the key areas to use to market higher education for nurses.

[Sara Copeland @copelandUFDNPst]

@ChuckARNP I have use NextGen, that is a helpful feature. I don't find NextGen very user friendly compared to some others I have used.

[Sara Copeland @copelandUFDNPst]

@GrossUFDNPtobe Wow...too independent, that is shameful! I try to make my patients more independent.

Cloud-based EHRs are more affordable, secure, and adaptable. Plus info is stored in the cloud, so less potential loss in transport or storms

After reading all about bandwidth, I remembered why I am not a tech person. Didn't know that there were usage limits for some sites/plans.

[Sara Copeland @copelandUFDNPst]

Learned about all kinds of internet access. Never heard of broadband over power lines, uses existing power lines to deliver internet.

@RohrsGatorDNP Does it ever get lost under furniture...or attacked by huge dust bunnies?

[Sara Copeland @copelandUFDNPst]

@DiazUFDNPtobe I will probably never get rid of my very low tech paper planner. Good luck with the switch!

[Sara Copeland @copelandUFDNPst]

@SealyUFDNPtobe @InfogeeksCONUFL That is amazing...way better than simple transilluminators, which is what we have in the NICU.

[Sara Copeland @copelandUFDNPst]

@pjccuster @InfogeeksCONUFL Yes, I too am trying to work out the kinks and quirks of Windows 8. I am starting to get it after many months.

[Sara Copeland @copelandUFDNPst]

@BerrierUFDNP @HamlettUFDNPtob I didn't know about the app either. I love UpToDate! I'll have to check that out.

[Sara Copeland @copelandUFDNPst]

@SBernsteinUF I am also new to twitter and actually all social media. Not my thing to broadcast my life on the internet!

[Sara Copeland @copelandUFDNPst]

This year I finally got a smart phone and I love the LactMed app for drug compatibility/safety with breastfeeding.
