I was happy to celebrate the 77th anniversary of the independence of the Nation of Pakistan. I joined thousands of Pakistani-Americans on Coney Island Avenue for the Brooklyn Mela 2024. It was an amazing day to celebrate the success of the Pakistani community and their contribution to every area of our life, especially in Brooklyn. The Chaand Raat Mela at #littlepakistan neighborhood of #coneyislandavenue was a huge hit! We at #COPO received awards for our community service, distributed free Iftaar boxes, and of course, participated in all the Eid festivities!

Today COPO is hosting an Anti-Violence and Wellness Workshop! Collaborating with @NYPD70Pct and @breakthroughmhc, we are excited to bring in experts in the field for an afternoon of skill building and techniques to empower our community.
On Mon, our team started the holiday festivities early & gathered w/ community & gov partners at @HAC_US’s Food Distribution & Resource Fair in BK. Our team connected w/ Haitian & Caribbean community members & gave info on city resources available regardless of immigration status
