Homeless pan handler Billy Ray Harris received spare change from Sarah Darling. Unknowingly, her $4,000 diamond engagement ring fell into his cup. Harris had it appraised but returned it the next day when she came back searching.

Touched by his honesty, Sarah and her fiancé started a fundraiser. It raised over $150,000, allowing Harris to buy a car, a house, and reunite with his family after 16 years.

Hard work pays off. A convenience store owner in Staten Island awards students based on grades. Children bring in their report cards and he gives them items from his store for working hard in their classes.

Mariah, a fourth grader, can barely look over the counter but she shows the store owner her report card and her Student of the Month certificate. The generous store owner allows her to choose items from the store. When Mariah brings several things to the counter he asks, “Is that all you want?”

The grading system is 1=Rarely,2=Sometimes,3=Usually, 4=Always. If Mariah achieves mostly fours, she will receive $100.00 from. The grading systems are different today, but this store owner gets an A+ and way to go Mariah!!!

At a Waffle House in La Marque, Texas, an elderly man on oxygen told his 18-year-old waitress, Evoni "Nini" Williams, that his hands weren't working well and he was struggling to eat.

Without hesitation, she took his plate and carefully cut up his ham so he could enjoy his meal.A customer captured the kind moment in a photo that went viral. As a result, Texas Southern University awarded Evoni a $16,000 college scholarship.

A beautiful reminder that small acts of compassion can change lives in unexpected ways.
