@ailanyus I feel the guilt of being born with blue eyes since all other eye colors are clearly inferior, especially green-eyed people. They're the worst.
@Robkearney1981@dianemontagna Lex orandi, lex credendi, lex vivendi. As we worship, so we believe, so we live. If you get worship (liturgy) wrong, it erodes doctrine. If you erode doctrine, the Christian life is unravelled. Welcome to the Church today.
@snowyxq1 True, when the Pope speaks infallibly ex cathedra. False, when the Pope opines of a matter involving prudential judgment. This is not a yes-or-no question. The answer depends on the subject matter.
@ChristopherHale I'm confused by the implication that Catholic Charities is entitled to public funding and the idea that the government's withdrawal of that funding constitutes denial of religious liberty. The Church is not an NGO.
@JLLiedl Pope Leo, please accept that mandatory resignation. Two years beyond what was necessary is too much for the people of the Archdiocese of Chicago.
@RichRaho What a ridiculous post. Neither by intellect or temperament was Pope Francis up to the job. He was a petty tyrant, despised the tradition of the Church, and had no interest in preserving the Sacred Deposit of Faith.
@RJOrner It's possible for the President, the Attorney General, and the DOJ to make poor decisions and for Trump Derangement Syndrome to still be a thing.
@NancyRoh10@fasc1nate Horseback riding was the military technology of the time. You drill for situations you might experience in combat. Being able to remain on your horse while navigating a six-foot drop might be the difference between leading your troops or being dismounted.
