People hardly share full stories, not because they don't intend to but because they subconsciously trivialise other's contributions to their journey- most of the time partner or parents.

"I started my business from nothing"- missing out the part where they lived at home, with allowance and subsidy from parents."

"I quit my job to start a business"- missing out the part where it is a two income household and the other party was holding down the fort while they figure things out.

Don't get carried away by the stories.
Be inspired but understand the nuances.

@Benn_X1 Not even the worst part, at least some companies still might consider that promotion. In her case she did content inside bank vault and the video went viral. She removed it after she got queried. She has been queried twice but people are making it sound like it is unfair
