I helped Sticktory grow from 19k to 145k subscribers as the channel's scriptwriter.
Scripts I wrote generated over 11 million views.
These videos, I scripted them:
Who else is noticing that AI talking heads are gradually becoming a thing?
The fun part is that many viewers can't tell yet.
The ones who noticed either didn't care as long as the payoff was strong.
Or left comments promising they won't watch the creator again.
No in-between.
Wow.
YouTube storytelling technique 10 will be explained tomorrow.
Think of this technique as the glue that joins your video together.
It's very important.
Mastering it will change how you script your videos.
Tomorrow, you get to see it!
YOUTUBE STORYTELLING TECHNIQUE 9/10 — The Climax
The climax is the most intense or exciting part of your video.
How do you use it?
In the last technique I explained, Emotional Progression, I emphasized that emotions are everything on YouTube.
To use this technique, you need to trigger excitement or tension. Better, both.
Let’s take this step by step.
> First, structure your video around a peak moment. This should be the most exciting, tense, or interesting part of the video. It must genuinely feel worth waiting for. Something even you would look forward to as a viewer.
> Second, your intro and midpoint must build toward the climax. The climax should feel inevitable. For example, a creator spends the entire video preparing for an impossible challenge. The moment they finally attempt it is the climax.
> Third, the climax must have a resolution. This is where you resolve the tension and answer the questions built up throughout the video. This is not the conclusion of the video itself. It’s the payoff to the tension you created from the beginning.
> Fourth, you must tease the climax. Your viewers won’t know an exciting moment is coming unless you hint at it. But don’t reveal too much, or they’ll have no reason to keep watching. Promise the climax, then continue building anticipation toward it.
If you apply these four steps correctly, you’ve just mastered an S-tier YouTube storytelling technique.
Rule of thumb: Your video should have a climax. Remember to dramatize it.
@theaymanarab I believe you have to lock in w one business at first. dedicated focus can open a lot of doors that scattered focus across 2 to 3 businesses can't
