Don’t let bitterness turn you into someone God did not create.
The world says:
“Match their energy.”
Jesus says:
“Release grace.”
The world says:
“Cut them off.”
Jesus says:
“Pray for them.”
The world says:
“Protect your pride.”
Jesus says:
“Protect your heart.”
Loving your enemies doesn’t mean approving their behavior.
It doesn’t mean staying in abuse.
It doesn’t mean pretending pain didn’t happen.
It means you refuse to let bitterness turn you into someone God didn’t create.
I think my biggest takeaway from this year is that God listens. He pays attention. He may not give you an answer in 6 hours or 6 months, but when he does, he answers all the parts. He may be quiet sometimes but he’s only bidding His time. He’s never ignoring you.

Now I understand why it is in the bible that the love of money is the root of all evil. It eliminates the humanity in basic common sense situations. God is showing me some things and it’s so sad how many allow greed, etc., to control them.
