@CilComLFC@Eire1984 I think it would be really sad if he were able to convince that many people that he had any power to make changes. Any changes signed off on by our president need to come from parliament.
Countdown is finally on. Second trash to treasure shop opening soon in Dungarvan. Excited doesn't even come close. Non funded business supported entirely by circular economy is now supporting 7 jobs.

@PaddyCunningham I loved the singing, my mam loved it and nephew wanted to stay up for the singing, but the show itself was painful, no fault of the artists on stage. I loved the idea and unpredictability of the wheel, but it was just too gimmicky.
I don't understand why no one is talking about the new Tennant tax, the one that the government has landed on us during the worst housing crisis the country has ever seen, the one the landlords passed directly to their tenants.
@its_dwj_griff@crazyhouseprice I house share, when someone works from home they take over a room for the whole day, blocking it from other peoples use. Usually kitchen, blocking cooking, washing machine usage because we don't like disturbing them. 6 in that house 1 working from home wouldn't work.
@alwaysgivingout You could write a thesis on the absence of compassion and empathy. It's very obvious that the advice was offered by someone with a learning disability and you choose to ridicule him, for what purpose? He was trying to be nice, what was your motive?
@RTEOne@RTEplayer@bazashmawy The Positive Ability Network (a business built using my disability allowance) volunteered on the build, we were treated with dignity and respected for our work ethic, we work with people to help them get back on their feet. Thank you for welcoming us as part of the crew.
ESB and electric Ireland are the same company, but ESB can't use their 1.5 billion profit to cap prices for electric Ireland customers. As they are required to trade seperately. WE OWN ESB, the government owns 95% of the company the rest is in employee shares. WTF!!
As part of Déise Today's ongoing series that focuses on inspirational local communities around the county, @damienwlr travelled to Ballinamult to chat with Cora Kearney about their Trash to Treasure Project Waterford initiative ⤵

@crazyhouseprice I've had a carpenter from Galway on a couch in my living room for the past week because there is nowhere available to rent short term. There is a huge shortage of trades people, and when you do find one for a job there is nowhere to rent.
