I am delighted and proud to tell y’all that I will be joining @NortheasternCOS as a PhD candidate in theoretical physics. Now it’s time to prepare for challenges I intend to face in academia over the next few years. Thanks!

Currently, trying to apply AI techniques to Ginzburg-Landau phase transitions. Apart from mainstream books like kardar, anyone got modern review references ?
🚨 Luis de la Fuente: “I honestly don't understand why you ask me about the controversy surrounding the referee in the Argentina vs. Egypt match. Where did that even come from? I watched the game and I thought the referee got everything right. I’d actually like to congratulate him because every decision he made was spot on.” @DAZN_ES 🇦🇷🇪🇬
@vrundasays_ I got masters in UK, supported myself with student loan for tuition and https://t.co/3ip0kUxLwY, paying it back with whatever I save from PhD stipend. Not sure how it works in France but see if you can find a parttime job on the side
Had a brief look at female friend’s dating app earlier today. It’s not looking good bruv, brutal !! Good enough reason for me to get rid of dating apps for good and focus even more on physics
@Samuel_Gregson It depends on the area of physics. In cond-mat, it's often possible to carry out an experiment within a year of developing a theoretical model. However, the situation is much less clear in HEP, where experimental progress tends to be extremely slow or even nonexistent
Just came up with a more visual explanation of how gravity could interact with human aging across the gravitational spectrum.
(Again, this is part of the hypothesis, not proven yet).
